I usually wear large or extra large but lean toward XL. I took a chance & bought the L. It’s snug but I like it. Very good quality and thick/heavy. I love the night rider jacket.
Fit and finish on this jacket is perfect. The leather is very thick but extremely soft and flexible. Zero break in time. Very comfortable day one. Ykk zippers are butter smooth. Huge gun pockets with sewn on holster on one side. Nice touch. I did the oxblood, dark red with more brown in it than some oxblood so it's not a bright red at all. Zip out liner is kinda skimpy on insulation, not sure it would add much warmth but I rarely use the liners and typically layer my own heavy hoodie anyway. Probably best vent system I've ever had. No parachuting effect. 85 today and I had plenty of airflow. My other jackets wide been much hotter even with their vents open. As for fit: sizing with this company is strange. I'm 5'10" 170 lbs normally wear 40-42 jacket (medium) but these run a whole size larger as others have stated. I went with the small and fit perfect. So size down when you order. This is a boxy American fit. It's not slim fit. A bit more room in body and sleeves than I would prefer but I definitely have enough room to comfortably layer up under it and add armor without worrying about it getting too tight. I like slim fit normally but riding a motorcycle I'd rather have room to move in it and I have plenty with this. If I had one complaint it would be the length of the jacket is couple inches longer than I prefer. Bunches a bit when you're sitting on the bike. Not a big deal, but it is a slight negative.
This is an outstanding jacket in every way. The ox blood color is rich and unique. The leather is thick yet very supple, and the jacket is well constructed. The jacket does get compliments on the color and softness of the leather. I went one size down from my normal XL and found that to be a wise decision. It’s pretty chilly here, so I haven’t tried the venting. This is not my first purchase from Stofma Hub, therefore I expected and received the jacket quickly. This was another excellent Stofma Hub buying experience.
I feel just as badass in the Night Rider jacket. As soon as I lifted the package I knew that I had a substantial jacket in my hands. I went with this jacket because I live in chilly wet coastal Nor-Cal, I'm a bit tired of textile jackets teamed up with electric liners. The Night Rider is thick/heavy material with a zip out thermal liner to keep body heat in and the chill out. The leather... oh the leather... Yep, it is just as soft and subtle as other Stofma Hub reviews have stated. The stitching and seams are perfect and I love the ("murdered out" to paraphrase Anthony from Revzilla) all black look with venting where it actually works. I'm 5'8" / 205 lbs, the Large fits me well with plenty of room to layer under the jacket. In a few days I'll be riding to Illinois on the Southern route and I'll really test out the jacket against quite a few differing climates but so far I am highly impressed.
I bought this yesterday and the quality of the jacket is awesome for the price point - the jacket weighs around 6 lbs (yes I weighed it - it was so heavy I had to check it out) buttery soft leather, great stitching and features - like all the other reviews here say the jacket is top notch. The quality of the jacket was great and I am going to get the Hot Shot vest next.. I will update after going for a ride - It rained all day today and I had to much work to do
